Eve
Eve Wilbanks, Principal. Eve graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois, in 1994. Upon graduation, she moved to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, to begin her career as a freelance court reporter. In 1995, she passed the Registered Professional Reporter examination, given by the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), to become nationally certified. She in the past has held positions with the South Carolina Court Reporters Association and attended NCRA’s Leadership Training Conference in Washington, D.C. She is currently taking courses to further her training to include closed-captioning. She is experienced in all aspects of reporting and offers real-time services. Eve resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Mary Ann
Mary Ann Ridenour, Principal. graduated Cittone Institute in Edison, New Jersey, in 1991. Upon graduation, she moved to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and began her career as a freelance court reporter. In 1994, she became a founding member of Carolina Reporting. The following year she became recognized as a Registered Professional Reporter, after passing the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) certification test. She has held numerous committee and board positions with the South Carolina Court Reporters Association since 1996 and has been president twice. Mary Ann has also held several committee positions within NCRA and for five years was their legislative liaison for nine southern states. She has published articles in the state association’s newsletter and NCRA’s Leadership Bulletin, as well as their national trade publication, Journal of Court Reporting. She has conducted seminars on both the state and national level, on topics ranging from certification of court reporters to grassroots lobbying, and creative thinking strategies. She volunteers as a mentor to reporting students and provides captioning for the deaf and hard-of-hearing at her church. Mary Ann currently resides in Summerville with her husband and two sons.
Teri
Teri graduated from Alfred State College in upstate New York in 1985, became nationally certified in 1995 and licensed in Georgia in 2002, In the 21 years that Teri has been a court reporter, she has worked in Charleston, with the exception of the last three years reporting in Chicago and then, most recently, Atlanta, where she worked on national cases, i.e. Arthur Andersen and Wyeth. Teri writes realtime and enjoys taking depositions on a wide variety of cases, including personal injury, medical malpractice, construction, domestic and patent litigation. Teri currently resides in Mount Pleasant.
Cristin
Cristin is a 2003 graduate from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information System Technologies with a specialization in Captioning. She obtained her Illinois Certified Shorthand Reporter license in December of 2002 and became nationally certified in November of 2003. She has been an active member of the National Court Reporters Association since 2000 and joined the South Carolina Court Reporters Association in early 2007. Upon graduation from SIUC, Cristin began her career in Chicago, Illinois, where she worked as a freelance court reporter. In late 2006, she moved to Summerville, South Carolina with her husband, Paul, who is an active member of the military and currently stationed at Charleston Air Force Base.
Denise
Denise graduated from Orlando College in 1985 with an Associate's Degree in Court Reporting and began her career as a freelance reporter. After moving to the east coast of Florida, she became a Deputy Official Court Reporter covering criminal and civil proceedings within the Circuit Court of Brevard County. In 1996, Denise moved to Charleston where she has worked within the federal court system, covered grand jury proceedings, and participated in a wide variety of freelance work. Denise is a member of the National Court Reporters Association and the South Carolina Court Reporters Association. She participates in continuing education classes to maintain her designation as a Registered Professional Reporter, RPR. Denise lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband.
